McDonald’s Pokémon Happy Meals Also Include Plastic Toys
Screenshot: McDonald’s, The Pokémon Company, PokéBeach
The Pokémon cards aren’t the only collectibles included this year. Plastic Pokémon Happy Meal toys are returning. This is big news for fans, as its the first time in over eight years since the promotion has included Pokémon toys.
The collection features 15 Pokémon designs made to look like tiny Happy Meal boxes. Each toy includes a pull-out keyring that lets you attach it to a bag or belt loop. Yes, you can now carry a miniature Pokémon Happy Meal around with you. It’s freakin’ adorable – I know!
The toy’s cardboard packaging also contains two randomly selected cards from the 15-card collection. Meanwhile, the full-size Happy Meal boxes feature Pikachu, Umbreon, or Torchic designs.
The toy lineup includes:
Bulbasaur
Charmander
Eevee
Espurr
Minccino
Munchlax
Pikachu
Piplup
Rowlet
Sobble
Sprigatito
Squirtle
Torchic
Umbreon
Weedle
Interestingly, there are also regional differences. PokéBeach reports that Quebec and Norway will receive four-card booster packs instead of the plastic toys. For collectors elsewhere, this year’s promotion offers two collections to work through: the Pokémon cards and their tiny Happy Meal companions.

The Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake release date is Thursday, November 5, 2026. However, the game is expected to become playable on November 4 for players in western North America who purchase it digitally through the Nintendo eShop.
According to Nintendo’s official support site, digital games that are also sold physically usually unlock at 9:00 PM PT the night before their listed release date. Therefore, Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake should launch in North America at 9:00 PM PT on November 4 / 12:00 AM ET on November 5.
That means players on the West Coast will be able to jump into Hyrule on Wednesday evening. Players on the East Coast, meanwhile, will need to wait until midnight. That said, Nintendo’s regional guidance differs, with its UK support page saying most software becomes available at midnight on its release date.

Nintendo has not announced a Deluxe Edition of Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake. There is also no announced paid early access period or edition-exclusive in-game bonus content. Players can purchase the standard game either physically or digitally.
However, early physical buyers can get special packaging featuringtextured gold foil cover artwork. Nintendo says this box is included with the first print run of the game and will be available while supplies last.

New Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo figures are scheduled to launch in 2027. Nintendo has confirmed that these figures will unlock special in-game masks that feature a retro graphical style.
These unlocks are tied to the amiibo figures, rather than a Deluxe Edition or pre-order bonus. So, while there will be additional items available through amiibo, you do not need to choose a more expensive edition of the game to get them.

The McDonald’s Pokémon TCG Happy Meal promotion starts this year on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, in the United States. However, weeks ahead of its launch, a near-complete Pokémon card set list has reportedly leaked early online.
The McDonald’s Pokémon card list first appeared on X after multiple accounts claimed to have gotten their hands on the Pokémon TCG promotion early. For your convenience, here is the list of cards according to leakers:
Note:The above set list and holographic card details have not yet been confirmed by McDonald’s or The Pokémon Company. We will update this list once a full announcement or further leak is available. If the leaked list is accurate, we are also still missing the 15th card in the set.
McDonald’s Pokémon TCG Happy Meals Also Include Collectible Toys

As if the scalping wasn’t going to be crazy enough, the McDonald’s Pokémon TCG promotion reportedly comes with Happy Meal toys as well. According to a report from PokéBeach, there will be 15 Pokémon toys shaped like miniature Happy Meal boxes.
Each toy reportedly includes two random Pokémon cards, with the back of the toy doubling as a card frame.
Here is every Pokémon Happy Meal toy that’s been leaked so far:

Umbreon
Rowlet
Weedle
Bulbasaur
Piplup

Interestingly, the leaked toy lineup doesn’t match the alleged card list. However, with each toy reportedly including two random cards, the Pokémon on your Happy Meal toy may not match the cards inside.
We would still take the unconfirmed card list with a grain of salt until further details are announced. With the McDonald’s Pokémon Happy Meals reportedly launching in just a few weeks, we should hear more about the TCG promotion soon.

The Crkd Nitro Deck was a saving grace for the original Nintendo Switch. The slide-on $59.99 accessory brought Hall effect sticks to drift-plagued consoles - no need to open up your Joy-Con for a complicated repair. The Nitro Deck 2, made for both the original Switch and the larger Switch 2, continues the tradition of having better sticks than what Nintendo puts in even the newest Joy-Con (though these aren't Hall effect or TMR). But it doesn't feel as essential, and there's one thing I really can't stand about it.
It's too difficult to use the Nitro Deck 2's ABXY face buttons without the right stick getting in the way. The stick-to-button …
The Nintendo Switch 2 has apparently been jailbroken, and a modder has already shown the console running a custom version of Mario Kart World featuring new playable characters like Cinnamoroll, the red Angry Bird, Peter Griffin, and Steve from Minecraft.

Hey, remember Pokémon Platinum Version? You know, the best game of Pokémon's best era? Giant fictionalized Hokkaido to explore, evil team that wanted to make the world a nightmare dimension? If you've been hankering to revisit the best of the DS (which I kind of have lately, as it and its rival the PSP re-enter the zeitgeist thanks to hipsters), you no longer have to do it alone. — Read the rest
It's taken 37 years for Nintendo's humble Game Boy to hit puberty, but the hour has finally come. What's even cooler than a video game console you can carry around in your pocket?
