How The Game’s 15-Minute Diss Track Turned This Feud Into Mixtape History

50 Cent used to be pivotal to The Game’s career. Before his classic debut album, The Documentary, released, it was nearly shelved. But the G-Unit leader came in to help take the record to the next level. Then, he ended up with classic singles like “Hate It Or Love It” and “How We Do” on the album, launching him into rap stardom. This led Game to join the rest of the G-Unit group.

However, that also meant beefing with every single rapper that 50 Cent was beefing with. Ultimately, the Compton MC didn’t like getting involved in that kind of mess, Really, he wanted to work with artists like Nas and Jadakiss. Moreover, 50 argued that he never got the proper credit for writing six of the songs on the album. Consequently, he ousted The Game as quickly as he joined them.

Eventually, their feud led to violence between crews. One of Game’s associates was shot while trying to enter the Hot 97 building. Not long afterward, Interscope intervened between their two artists asking for a peace treaty to prevent any further violence.

That didn’t mean they would stop dissing each other, though. It all culminated in Game’s 15-minute epic “300 Bars N Runnin”.

The Game Releases The Longest Diss Track of All Time with ‘300 Bars N Runnin’

Released on his mixtape You Know What It Is Volume 3, he unloaded a hefty 300 bar verse trashing G-Unit. It’s a standard affair from Game, mocking their credibility the same way they did to him.

The pair would trash each other back and forth for years before eventually cooling down their explicit disses on each other by the start of the 2010s. Admittedly though, The Game thought the beef would devolve into the kind of feud that led to Tupac and Biggie dying.

In a January 2026 interview with VIBE, he thought their youthful rage would cause both of them to lose their lives. “I was prepared to die in that beef,” he told the publication. “I was almost 100 percent sure that me and 50 was going to die in that… We already seen it happen, and I was the biggest rapper on the West and he was the biggest rapper on the East at that point, and we were both young, in our 20s, and I just thought that we wouldn’t make it out of that.”

50 Cent Takes Bitter Feud With ‘Power’ Creator to New Level With Personal Allegation

50 Cent is taking his bitter feud with Power creator Courtney Kemp to a whole new level. After she replied to some shade he threw at her in an interview, 50 made some allegations regarding Kemp’s personal conduct.

It all started in an October 2026 Variety interview that 50 Cent gave while promoting his new film, Street Fighter. During the conversation, 50 brought up Kemp’s name, saying she is someone he would never work with again.

“I don’t think that she’s wholeheartedly a bad person,” he said. “I just think that it got out of control for her. After the success of Power, she would go, ‘I wrote it.’ Well, you did write it, but I uploaded everything that you wrote, and we got a ‘no’ from everybody before we got a ‘yes,’ and I wrote songs that captured, at its nucleus, each one of the leads that we had and that emotionally captured energy for scenes.”

50 Cent says he would not want to work with ‘Power’ creator Courtney Kemp ever again

50 went on to imply that he has a lot of involvement in getting Starz and then-CEO Chris Albrecht to notice the show. He quipped that Kemp must have “forgot” how crucial is role was. The rapper also claimed that the series’ budget was mismanaged, which led to him criticizing Kemp’s leadership skills. “Half the s**t she was saying just didn’t make sense,” he said.

In response, Kemp responded to 50 Cent with her own statement to Variety. “While 50’s recollection of budgets and production requirements is uninformed,” she stated, “as he was rarely in a budget meeting, I have never once understated his importance in the genesis of Power.”

Kemp continued, “While he did not write nor create the series, he was a large part of its birth. That said, I am completely bewildered by his need to mention me in interviews or podcasts. I have completely moved on in my career, and I hope that the imminent success of Street Fighter allows him to do the same.”

This catches us up to Sunday, October 18. Following Kemp’s published statement, 50 Cent took to Instagram to throw even more ruthless shade at her.

“Wow, Variety [asked] me who I wasn’t looking forward to working with again, so I said Courtney,” he wrote. “I thought I was being nice; I didn’t even mention her sleeping with cast and crew members.” The word “oof” comes to mind.

At this time, Kemp does not appear to have responded further to 50 Cent’s allegations.

Eminem Has a New Solo Album on the Way, According to His Long-Time Collaborator and Fellow Rap Icon

50 Cent’s next big project is the new Street Fighter film. The acclaimed rapper portrays one of the game’s characters, Balrog, in the film, and also apparently worked on the soundtrack. Interestingly, in a new red carpet interview, 50 revealed that his ol’ buddy Eminem had previously been working with him on some music for the film.

“Em, well, he put a couple pieces together for it,” 50 Cent said. However, Eminem ultimately “decided that” he had to prioritize work on his next solo album. “He kinda fell back on that,” 50 added.

Notably, this is not the first time that 50 Cent has talked about working with Em in the Street Fighter soundtrack. “I got some music that I’m working on. I did something currently: me, Eminem and 2Pac,” he told Today With Jenna & Sheinelle in July 2026. “They delivered it. It’s for the theme of Street Fighter, the movie. We worked on it and got it right.”

50 Cent and Eminem have a deep bond and strong friendship

Eminem and 50 Cent aren’t just musical collaborators; they’re also really close friends. While 50 is known for trolling other rappers and getting into beefs, he once told Jimmy Kimmel that he’d “never” beef with Em.

“Never with Em because he’s done everything for me,” he said back in 2020. “He provided my opportunity and from there… Dre is like to Em what Em is for me, and so having us together, it’s the coolest thing.”

For his part, Eminem was on hand for 50 Cent’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, and he had some glowing things to say about his friend.

“I just wanna say man, I’m here today because this is not only a business partner to me, it’s one of the best friends I’ve ever known in the world,” Em said, per iHeart. “I would say that it’s much more fun to be his friend than it is to be his enemy because this guy is f**king relentless. And he won’t stop. And the same way that he’s relentless in his battles, he’s also relentless in his business.”

Eminem continued: “He’s an artist, an entrepreneur, an actor, a director, a producer; he can juggle, he’s great at Scrabble. He pretty much does it all. And he’s also helped me through a lot of hard times in my own life, and he’s always been there when I needed him. So 50, congrats on your star, man. Hollywood is making official what I knew from the beginning, what Dre knew from the beginning.”
