A new rumor claims that FNAF is coming to Fortnite in Chapter 7 Season 4. According to players, there is a Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Easter egg on the Fortnite Override map. Here is everything you need to know about a potential Fortnite FNAF collab and whether the rumor is real.
Is FNAF Coming to Fortnite?
Screenshot: Epic Games
As of the time of writing, Epic Games has not confirmed that FNAF is coming to Fortnite. However, before you get too disappointed, there are some signs that a Five Nights at Freddy’s crossover could finally be happening in the battle royale.
The latest rumor started when players noticed a new location on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map that looks awfully similar to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Even if it isn’t a FNAF Easter egg, the building looks so similar that it has to at least be a nod to the iconic horror game.
FNAF Fortnite Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Location
To find the rumored FNAF Easter egg location in Fortnite, travel southeast directly below the yellow Pac-Man island above the Battlewoods POI. Here is a map showing the exact location:

As you can see, the building itself has a very similar shape to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza from the game series, as well as the location featured in the movie franchise. When you enter the building, it also has a show stage that once again looks similar to the iconic FNAF location where the animatronics perform.

Why Fans Think FNAF Is Coming to Fortnite Soon
Finally, Fortnite Lead Producer Colin Friday recently followed the official FNAF social media account on X. This, of course, sent the Fortnite and Five Nights at Freddy’s communities into a frenzy.
However, the follow could also mean absolutely nothing and may just be a coincidence. That said, Fortnite Override is themed around gaming legends, with Chapter 7 Season 4 bringing numerous video game characters to the battle royale.

With Fortnitemares 2026 coming this October and Chapter 7 Season 4 centered around gaming legends, there has never been a more perfect time for a FNAF collab to happen in Fortnite. For now, though, the crossover remains a rumor and has not been confirmed by Epic Games.

TheFortnitePower Hour today increases the spawn rates of Gold Sprite variants across the Island. Players will also drop into each match with an additional Portable Extractor and a 1-Up Token, giving them an immediate advantage.
Midas’ Masterpiece Pistol will also be more likely to appear during both Golden Hours sessions. The powerful weapon deals additional headshot damage, making it an item worth tracking down while you hunt for rare Gold Sprites.
Here is everything included in the Fortnite Power Hour today:
Drop in with an additional Portable Extractor and a 1-Up Token.
Gold Sprite variants appear more often.
Midas’ Masterpiece Pistol is more likely to appear, and headshots deal additional damage.
These bonuses will only be active during the scheduled Golden Hours periods. So if you are still missing one of the rarest Fortnite Override Sprite variants, you will want to make the most of both sessions.

Each Fortnite Golden Hour lasts two hours. Epic Games will host two sessions on August 22, giving players four total hours to take advantage of the increased Gold Sprite spawn rates and special gameplay bonuses.
You don’t need to participate in both sessions, but joining each one will give you the best chance of finding the Gold Klombo Sprite and unlocking the Gold Crown Sprite. The evening session also gives players another opportunity if they miss the first Power Hour earlier in the day.
Epic Games has released 11 Gold Sprites early in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. Players can now find the new variants across the battle royale map. Here is a complete list of all the Fortnite Override Gold Sprites available now.

The rarest Gold Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 4 are currently the Gold Klombo Sprite and Gold Crown Sprite, as both variants have a Mythic rarity. The Gold Jackrabbit Sprite is the next rarest variant with a Legendary rarity.
With the Gold variants now available early, players can begin searching for all 11 across the Fortnite Override map. Epic Games could also add more Gold Sprites throughout Chapter 7 Season 4, so we will update this list if any additional variants are released.
When Is Fortnite Golden Hours?
Epic Games is also hosting Fortnite Golden Hours on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The weekend Power Hour will begin at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET and feature increased spawn rates for Gold Sprites.
Although Epic Games released the Fortnite Gold Sprites early today, their spawn rates are not currently boosted. If you want an easier time collecting all 11 variants, your best bet is to wait for Golden Hours tomorrow morning.
A new datamine has revealed 6 upcoming Fortnite Sprites that will be added during Chapter 7 Season 4. Leakers have also discovered 5 new Sprite variants, including one seemingly connected to the Fortnitemares 2026 update in October.
New Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprites Leaked
Screenshot: Epic Games
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 has only been live for 24 hours, and dataminers have already uncovered new Sprites that are planned for future updates. According to the leak, 6 new Fortnite Sprites will be coming to Fortnite Override.
The leaked lineup includes a Meowscles Sprite and Squibbly Sprite. However, it should be pointed out that we don’t currently have release dates for any of them. Plans can also change before the Sprites officially appear in the game.
For your convenience, here is the complete list of upcoming Sprites leaked for Fortnite Override:
Meowscles Sprite
BodySlam Sprite (collab)
Cube Sprite
Headshot Sprite and Gold Headshot Sprite
SquibblySprite (all variants)
Overshield Sprite (all variants)
Screenshot: X @FNBRintel, @HypeX
Interestingly, it appears the BodySlam Sprite is part of a collaboration crossover. That means it will likely be a one-off Mythic Sprite, similar to the Ironmouse Sprite or John Wick Sprite from Chapter 7 Season 3. The only question left is: Who is the Sprite based on? Personally, I’m hoping for a John Cena Sprite. You know that would be funny.

Dataminers have also revealed 5 new Sprite variants that will reportedly be released during Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. So far, Fortnite Override has only introduced the new Cheat Master Sprite variant. The Gold Sprite variant arriving on August 22 is a carryover from last season.
Here is a list of all the upcoming Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprite variants that have been leaked:
Candy
Holofoil
Hacker
Reaper
TrickTreat
While it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s speculated that the TrickTreat Sprite variant will be connected to the Fortnitemares 2026 update arriving in October. Given that Chapter 7 Season 4 ends on October 31, it will likely be one of the final Sprite variants released during the Override season.
For now, Epic Games has not announced release dates for any of the leaked Sprites or variants. However, with several Chapter 7 Season 4 updates still planned, players should have plenty of new Sprites to collect throughout the remainder of the season.
Epic Games has added a new Crown Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, and it’s incredibly difficult to master. Players not only have to earn a Victory Royale to obtain this Mythic Sprite, but they must also continue winning matches to unlock its Cheat Master variant. Here is how to get the Fortnite Crown Sprite and all of its variants.
How to Get the Crown Sprite in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4
Screenshot: Epic Games
To get the Fortnite Crown Sprite, you need to win a single match in any Battle Royale mode. After earning a Victory Royale, the Mythic Sprite will automatically be added to your Sprite Collection. If you think that sounds pretty simple, I have some bad news for you when it comes to mastering it.
Unlike other Chapter 7 Season Sprites, the Fortnite Crown Sprite only levels up when you win matches. If you earn a Crowned Victory Royale by winning two matches back-to-back, you will automatically take the Sprite from Level 1 to Level 5 Mastered. However, that requires you to win two consecutive matches without dying while having the Crown Sprite equipped. It’s easier said than done.
Here are the steps to unlock the Crown Sprite in Fortnite Override:
Step 1: Win a single match in any Battle Royale mode, including Zero Build or Build.
Step 2: The Crown Sprite will automatically be added to your Sprite Collection.
Screenshot: Epic Games
Step 3: Equip your Crown Sprite and level it up by winning additional matches.
Step 4: Earn a Crowned Victory Royale by winning two matches back-to-back to master it and unlock the Cheat Master Crown Sprite variant.
Screenshot: Epic Games
How to Get the Gold Crown Sprite in Fortnite
Screenshot: Epic Games
Fortnite Crown Sprite variants are only obtainable by mastering the previous variant. For example, mastering the standard Crown Sprite will automatically unlock the Cheat Master Crown Sprite. Mastering the Cheat Master Crown Sprite will then unlock the Gold Crown Sprite variant.
The Gold Crown Sprite will be added to Fortnite on Saturday, August 22, 2026. It will debut alongside other Gold Sprites as part of the Gold Hours Power Hours event taking place over the weekend.
Here is how to get the Gold Crown Sprite:
Step 1: Equip the Cheat Master Crown Sprite and win matches to level it up.
Step 2: Earn a Crowned Victory Royale by winning two matches back-to-back with the Cheat Master Crown Sprite equipped.
Step 3: Once your Cheat Master Crown Sprite reaches Level 5 Mastered, you will automatically unlock the Gold Crown Sprite variant when it becomes available on August 22.
Unfortunately, this difficult Sprite progression system appears to be a season-long mechanic. That means you will have to keep winning matches and mastering each Crown Sprite variant to unlock any additional versions released throughout Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. As a result the Crown Sprite will be one of the rarest sprites in Fortnite Override.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 features Cheat Codes that unlock free rewards through the game’s Admin Panel. There are also Lobby Hacks that give you Cheat Master Sprite variants. Here is a complete list of all Fortnite Override Cheat Codes discovered so far and the rewards they unlock.
What Is the Admin Panel in Fortnite?

In Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, you will now see an “Admin Panel” button in the main menu. This is where you can enter Cheat Codes that give you free in-game rewards. If you have the right password, you can enter it to instantly unlock Sprite Dust, XP, cosmetics, Gizmos, or even a rare Fortnite Sprite.
The only problem is that you have to find the Fortnite Cheat Codes first. Epic Games is currently sharing codes through social media posts and promotional events. However, for your convenience, we have gathered all the Cheat Codes currently available in Fortnite Override below.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 will let players hack matches using Cheat Codes, Override Consoles, and special Power-Ups. Here is everything you need to know about Fortnite Override, including its new weapons, Sprites, map POI’s, Battle Pass, and gaming collabs.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Cheat Codes and Override Consoles Explained
Screenshot: Epic Games
The biggest feature of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is hacking. In every match, players will be able to find Cheat Codes that appear across the map and activate them using special Override Consoles. However, these codes don’t just impact you – they actually affect every player in the match as they rewrite the rules for the entire server.
That said, you will need to find and capture an Override Console before other players get to it first. When a player takes control, their name will be displayed around the base of the console so that the entire lobby knows who activated it.
Here is a quick breakdown of how the new Fortnite Override mechanic works:
How Fortnite Override Consoles Work

Override Consoles appear in every Battle Royale match.
Players can find Cheat Codes hidden across the island.
Cheat Codes can be activated to change the rules of the match.
Some Overrides affect the entire server.
Your name is displayed around the console when you take control.
Rare Squad Overrides only buff the first squad that reaches them.
Activating a Squad Override broadcasts your location on the map.

Epic Games will distribute Lobby Hack codes through social media, promotions, and real-world campaigns throughout the season. Players can then redeem them in Fortnite to unlock special in-game bonus rewards such a XP, Sprite Dust, and even Sprite Variants!

All New Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprites
Screenshot: Epic Games
Sprites are officially returning in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. However, Override will introduce a completely new generation of Sprites with different gameplay abilities. One of the first confirmed additions is the Tails Sprite, which helps players hover in the air.
Players will be able to catch other new Sprites throughout the season and add them to their collection. Here is a full list of all Fortnite Override Sprites:
Klombo Sprite: Grants random items at each level.
Sonic Sprite: Gotta Go Fast! Sprint faster.
Tails Sprite: Hover in the air with the help of Tails.
Shadow Sprite: Automatically reload weapons over time, even when unequipped.
Jackrabbit Sprite: Perform another jump while mid-air.
8-Bit Sprite: Find an 8-Bit Shotgun in your first Chest and gain a core multiplier for it.

Sprites collected during Chapter 7 Season 3 will carry over.
Players can visit Sprite Garden to interact with their collection.
You can show off your collected Sprites to friends.
Chapter 7 Season 4 will introduce a new generation of Sprites.
New Sprites will have powers that can be used during Battle Royale matches.
This means your Chapter 7 Season 3 collection won’t disappear when Override begins. Instead, your old Sprites will remain available through Sprite Garden alongside the new variants introduced during Chapter 7 Season 4.
Fortnite Loot Hacks Explained
Screenshot: Epic Games
Sprite Dust will also have a new purpose in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. As you unlock Sprites, you can spend your Sprite Dust on Loot Hacks that customize the items found inside your chests in the battle royale mode.
Loot Hacks allow you to add bonus items to Chest drops, including special loot that can’t be found anywhere else. This will give players more control over their loadouts before a match even begins.
How Fortnite Loot Hacks Work
Catching new Sprites adds Sprite Dust your account.
Sprite Dust can then be spent on Loot Hacks.
Loot Hacks customize what can drop from your Chests.
Players can add exclusive bonus items to the Battle Royale loot pool.
Some Loot Hack items cannot be found anywhere else.
Loot Hacks should make collecting Fortnite Sprites even more important in Chapter 7 Season 4. Instead of just being used to resummon sprites, your collection can now directly influence the weapons and items you find during future matches.

Finally, Epic Games confirmed that several quality-of-life updates are coming to Fortnite Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 4. For example, players will now be able to see which Sprites they have already collected during a match, while Rare Sprites will cost significantly less Sprite Dust.
Here is everything changing for Fortnite Sprites in the Fortnite Override season:
You can now see in-match whether you’ve already collected a Sprite.
A Sprite’s name appears when you’re near it, so you know exactly which Sprite you’ve found.
Summoning rare Sprites and Variants now cost less Sprite Dust.
Reduced the button-hold time needed to summon a Sprite, getting your companion into the action quicker.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override officially launches on August 20, at 4am PT / 7 AM ET. The 11 new Sprites should be added once the new season goes live. However, some of the variants and Sprites included in the list might not be available on day one, and could be staggered out in the coming weeks.
The Sonic Fortnite collab will arrive alongside the launch of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 on August 20. According to dataminers, players will be able to get Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Knuckles outfits. Here is every Sonic Fortnite skin coming in Fortnite Override, along with all the leaked bundles and how to get each cosmetic.

How Much Will the Sonic Fortnite Skins Cost?

At the time of writing, Epic Games has not revealed how much the Sonic Fortnite skins or bundles will cost. It’s hard to predict a cost, as this is the first major Item Shop bundle of the Fortnite Override season, and it is packed with many cosmetic items.
Epic Games also typically doesn’t confirm prices before an outfit enters the Item Shop. However, we would expect the individual Sonic skins to cost at least 1,500 V-Bucks, with the complete bundles selling for considerably more.
Thankfully, players won’t have to wait much longer to find out. The Sonic Fortnite skins and bundles are expected to enter the Item Shop on August 20 once Chapter 7 Season 4 starts. Just keep in mind that these bundle details come from datamined files and could still change before the crossover officially goes live.

Epic Games has announced its overhauling how building works in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. Starting with update 42.00, Guided Build is being replaced by Quick Build. The new feature will allow players to complete massive creations in a fraction of the time. Creator Builds are also finally coming to the LEGO Fortnite mode.
LEGO Fortnite Odyssey Quick Build Explained
Screenshot: Epic Games
Epic Games has revealed that the newQuick Build feature will become the new default way to build in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey when update 42.00 launches. The new mechanic is designed to make building faster while cutting down on the amount of grinding needed to complete larger creations in the open-world sandbox mode.
Interestingly, Epic explains that the “more pieces you place with Quick Build, the faster the construction process” becomes. Players will eventually be able to place multiple pieces at once, allowing detailed structures that previously took hours to come together much more quickly.
For your convenience, here is a breakdown of how Quick Build works according to Epic:
Building gets faster over time: The construction speed increases as you continue building, eventually allowing you to place several pieces simultaneously.
Massive creations take less time: Large and detailed builds can be completed in a fraction of the time.
Traditional building is still available: Players can continue placing pieces brick by brick whenever they want. This method will still consume resources, but it has also been made faster and smoother.
Improved mobile controls: Epic Games has fine-tuned the touch controls and will now display the complete blueprint while you build.
Screenshot: Epic Games
Epic has confirmed that Quick Build is just the first update in a much larger overhaul to the LEGO Fortnite mode. “Every LEGO Fortnite Odyssey update throughout the remainder of 2026 will introduce a new building skill.” Each feature will build upon the last, eventually allowing players to become what Epic is calling a “Master Builder.”
A full trailer that will showcase how Quick Build works will be released on the official LEGO Fortnite YouTube channel on August 20.
New LEGO Fortnite Creator Builds Announced
Screenshot: Epic Games
Epic Games also announced that it’s finally adding character creations to LEGO Fortnite. The first two user-creations coming to the game were specifically made by members of the LEGO Fortnite Odyssey community.
Each user-created structure will also feature a unique Creator Crest that designates them as being made by a player. The first Creator Build is Haskyns’ Skyfang Marauder, which will become available on August 20. To unlock it, players just need to log in and claim the build in the mode’s menu.
A second creation, Spixylei’s Crown of the Abyss, will then arrive one week later on August 27. Here is the complete Creator Build schedule that has been announced so far:

All 14 The Duskbloods character classes have reportedly leaked early online. The upcoming FromSoftware multiplayer game appears to feature a lineup of truly disturbing characters for players to choose from.
The Duskbloods Characters Reportedly Leaked by Dataminers
Screenshot: FromSoftware
We are now only a few days away from The Duskbloods network test on August 21, and the game has reportedly just suffered a major leak. According to a post on FamiBoards, dataminers were able to uncover new information about the Switch 2 multiplayer game after files were pushed to its servers ahead of the beta.
According to the leak, The Duskbloods will have 14 playable characters and classes. If the information is accurate, we also have a description of each character. And, well, they are pretty interesting to say the least! For your convenience, here is the full list of leaked The Duskbloods character classes reportedly uncovered by dataminers:
All 14 Leaked The Duskbloods Character Classes
Screenshot: FromSoftware
Blood-Eater | Walter: The sole survivor of an extinct clan of rare-blood hunters. He uses his extraordinary sense of smell to track the blind spots in others’ pasts. He descended into madness after repeatedly licking the blood spatter from his sister—whom he himself had killed—and still walks the line between life and death in search of pure blood.
Guillotine | Gillian: An executioner of the Marisbel Inquisition. He carries a massive iron guillotine blade on his back. Having been exposed to too much blood over the years, he has begun to mutate and now wanders in search of the “Blood of the Beginning” before his own head is severed.
Foul-Rot | Veronica: A blind nun abandoned in the basement of a ruined cathedral. She inflicts self-harm to spread the grotesque blood blisters multiplying inside her body. The footprints she leaves behind instantly cause anything they touch to rot.
Nail-Pierced | Sebastian: A fanatic saint who drives silver nails into various parts of his body, using the flowing blood as a catalyst for miracles. By inflicting wounds on himself, he temporarily gains overwhelming ferocity, but his mind and body are already completely broken.
Coffin-Bearer | Maurice: A man who continued to collect corpses on the streets of Temurat at dusk. A mud-like monstrosity that was once his family writhes inside the iron coffin he carries on his back. By slamming the coffin against enemies, he sucks up their blood and feeds it to the creature inside.
Thread-Torn | Oscar: A deranged taxidermist who sews the flesh of beasts from all eras and regions directly onto his own body. During battle, he seizes enemy tissue and uses it to eerily patch and reinforce himself. Through the accumulation of tainted power, he transforms his own body into that of an ancient, rare beast.
Mud-Treader | Ulan: A female warrior who gained superhuman leg strength through human experimentation. Filthy blood constantly gushes from her ankles, and a red, poisonous swamp forms wherever she runs.
Candle-Snuffer | Isabel: A former waitress at the Siltera Noble Mansion. She possesses the ability to materialize shadows and trap her enemies’ blood within them to drain it. All light vanishes from the places she passes through.
Gut-Rinner | Randolph: An assault trooper of the Sampere Weapons Corps. Equipped with a back-mounted mechanism that allows him to fly freely and a massive piercing spear, he rips through his opponents’ flesh and blood along with their armor. His abdomen is heavily mechanized, enabling him to unleash devastating wide-area attacks using bloodlust as a catalyst.
Gazer-of-Flesh | Yuri: A heretical observer who cut off his own eyelids. He possesses the ability to intensify a target’s blood flow simply by fixing his gaze on them, causing their body to explode from within.
Ash-Crown | Camilla: A girl whose clan was burned to the ground. She wields “blood ash”—a mixture of the victims’ ashes and her own blood—to petrify and crystallize her enemies before shattering them.
Rust-Gospel | Baldur: A former priest of Kinmitsu who has stuffed his mouth with large amounts of scrap iron and needles. Every time he utters a prayer, his mouth is torn apart, and the mist of blood he spits out becomes a powerful attack.
Dusk-Silt | Elsa: A woman whose Dusk Disease has progressed to its final stage. When attacked, her body transforms into a blood-mud-like substance, allowing her to evade attacks and flow freely before injecting her own poisonous blood directly into her opponent’s body.
First-Shard | Nameless Shadow: An imperfect mass of flesh known as “First Blood,” incapable of understanding language and lacking any sense of its own origins. It is a cursed being that eerily mimics and unleashes the techniques of every bloodline.
When Is The Duskbloods Network Test?
Screenshot: FromSoftware
While this leak appears to come from dataminers, we still caution everyone to take it with a major grain of salt. That said, we should learn whether the information is legitimate in just a few days, as The Duskbloods’ first playable beta goes live this week.
The first The Duskbloods network test session begins on Friday, August 21, 2026, and runs from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM PDT. FromSoftware will hold multiple test sessions throughout the weekend, with the final one running on Sunday, August 23, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM PDT. The network test should give players their first opportunity to see how many of these leaked characters actually appear in the game.
New Fortnite Sprite Variants are reportedly being added in Chapter 7 Season 4 following the August 20 update. According to dataminers, Fortnite Override will not only feature new Fortnite Sprites, but players will have even more variants to track down if they want to complete their collection. Sprites have also received a major redesign for the new season.
New Fortnite Sprite Variants Are Coming in Chapter 7 Season 4
Screenshot: Epic Games
Epic Games recently revealed the 8 new Fortnite Sprites being added in Chapter 7 Season 4. However, up to this point, it wasn’t clear whether Sprite Variants would also be returning. Would we have to hunt down Gummy, Galaxy, and Gem variants in Fortnite Override again? If a new leak is to be believed, there will actually be even more variants to collect next season.
This latest update comes from FNBRIntel, who claims that Epic is adding new Fortnite Sprite variants in Chapter 7 Season 4. “Sprites will still have variants in Season 4, including new ones!” Interestingly, this seems to imply that all seven Sprite Variants from Chapter 7 Season 3 will also be returning.
Here is a list of the Fortnite Sprite Variants potentially returning in Chapter 7 Season 4:
Gold
Gummy
Galaxy
Gem
Holofoil
Cube
Quack
New Chapter 7 Season 4 Variants
Of course, the biggest mystery is what the new Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprite Variants will actually look like. With Fortnite Override launching on August 20, we fortunately shouldn’t have to wait much longer to find out.
Fortnite Sprites Have a New Design in Chapter 7 Season 4
Screenshot: Epic Games
The Fortnite Override trailer also appears to confirm that Sprites are getting a new redesign in Chapter 7 Season 4. In the new gameplay footage, the Sprites appear to be cubes that look like backpacks.
For example, there is a scene where Jonesy picks up the Fortnite Sonic Sprite. However, instead of the cute Sprite hovering over the player’s back, it now looks like a blocky backpack that is strapped to you.
The new Fortnite Sprite look might be in reference to Fortnite Override’s gaming legends theme. After all, the season has a Tetris crossover and features many pixel/cube-based gaming aesthetics.

At the time of writing, it’s unclear if all Fortnite Sprites in Chapter 7 Season 4 will have the new cube-look design. However, the 8 new Sprites revealed so far do appear to have this new look. With new Sprites, additional variants, and a complete redesign, it looks like collectors will have plenty to track down when Fortnite Override launches on August 20.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass has one gaming Collab
Unsurprisingly, Sonic is easily the biggest addition to the Fortnite Override Battle Pass. The SEGA mascot has been heavily featured throughout Epic Games’ Chapter 7 Season 4 marketing campaign so far, which has also revealed a Green Hill Zone location and a Tails Sidekick.
The other major character in the pass is Geno, who appears to play an important role in the new season’s storyline. The Fortnite Override trailer previously showed the character alongside Doctor Eggman as gaming worlds begin colliding with the Battle Royale island.
Interestingly, the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass only features a single gaming collab. Epic Games had previously revealed collaborations with Persona 5, Mega Man, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Pac-Man, Kingdom Hearts, and several other gaming franchises. However, only Sonic will be included in the $8.99 pass.

Most of gaming legends characters this season appear to be separate Item Shop releases rather than Battle Pass rewards, meaning Fortnite Override could have a steady stream of Gaming Legends cosmetics throughout the season.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 officially launches on August 20, 2026. With the Battle Pass lineup now confirmed, players only have a few more days to wait before Fortnite Override goes live and they can unlock them.
Grand Theft Auto 6 marketing is in full swing after the game just got a new PlayStation commercial. The August GTA 6 PS5 ad gives us our most up-to-date look at the game’s graphics yet.

Sony surprised players today by releasing a new GTA 6PlayStation commercial on their social media platforms. The new advertisement will reportedly play on television and online markets. Before you get too excited, the Grand Theft Auto 6 ad does not feature new gameplay or story footage. Every clip in it was featured in previous trailers.
However, it does feature the most up-to-date GTA 6 footage we currently have. The trailer specifically includes the cutscene where Jason is riding his motorcycle under a plane. And the second clip features Lucia driving a getaway car, while Jason jumps on the back of the vehicle to try to get inside of it. The new GTA 6 commercial is a part of PlayStation’s “It Happens on PS5” advertisement campaign.
In May, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick had revealed that Rockstar Games had entered an exclusive marketing partnership with Sony for the new Grand Theft Auto title. Zelnick also said that more GTA 6 trailers would be released after the Netflix First Look stream on August 27. This new PS5 commercial appears to be a part of those plans.
Was GTA 6 Graphics Downgraded?

While the GTA 6 PlayStation commercial didn’t feature new footage, it does feature the game’s most recent build we know of. As a result, eagle-eyed fans have been going over the footage to see whether the game has had any “downgrades” from what was shown off in the Trailer 1 and 2. The verdict? Players seem to be split on it.
The Jason and Lucia driving scene in particular has received criticism from some fans. For example, on Reddit one user wrote “Dang those graphics in image look kinda rough.” Another player critical of the game’s graphics exclaimed “Image two already looks like a downgrade from the trailers.”
However, not everyone agreed with the downgrade claims. Many argued that the footage in the PS5 Commercial is direct rips from GTA 6 trailer 2, meaning there would be no change. In all fairness, both scenes are also in motion, which makes it hard to really get an idea of the quality. Regardless, it appears that Grand Theft Auto 6 marketing is now beginning to roll out.

The next big preview of the game comes with theGTA 6 Netflix stream on August 27. The Grand Theft Auto 6 Extended Look event is expected to bring gameplay footage and new story details. It’s also rumored to be episodic and could run as long as an hour when combined. However, Rockstar has not confirmed this yet. So as of now, it’s just speculation.
The voice actor behind Resident Evil Requiem’s Grace Ashcroft will reportedly be the new voice of Tides of Annihilation protagonist Gwendolyn. According to a new report, Angela Sant’Albano is replacing Jennifer English in the major role.
Angela Sant’Albano Reportedly Replaces Jennifer English in Tides of Annihilation

In July, Jennifer English revealed that she had stepped down from her role in Tides of Annihilation. The Baldur’s Gate 3 actress explained that she was leaving the game to focus on her mental health. With Tides of Annihilation already pretty far into development, many wondered who would voice the new heroine. If a new report is to be believed, it’s the voice actor behind Grace Ashcroft from Resident Evil Requiem.
According to the report, Resident Evil Requiem’s Angela Sant’Albano will replace Jennifer English as the voice of Gwendolyn in Tides of Annihilation. The casting rumor first started after fans noticed that Sant’Albano had recently followed the Tides of Annihilation social media account following English’s departure. However, it now appears that Gwendolyn’s motion-capture artist may have also confirmed that Sant’Albano is the new voice.
In a post on X, Gwendolyn mocap artist Jennifer Prime responded to a fan who claimed that the Tides of Annihilation protagonist would now be played by Sant’Albano. In response, Prime wrote: “Yep!!! but this time, no more screaming ‘LEON!!!!’”

That response pretty much appears to confirm the casting. However, it should be noted that neither Angela Sant’Albano nor Tides of Annihilation developer Eclipse Glow Games has officially announced the change.
Was Tides of Annihilation’s Gwendolyn redesigned?

Following the recent casting news, many players believed that the Tides of Annihilation protagonist Gwendolyn was also given a new face. In a recent demo shown at an event in Shanghai, users claimed that the new protagonist had a redesigned appearance. At the time of writing though, it’s unclear whether the design is connected to the rumored casting of Sant’Albano or if it’s even true.
According to Jennifer Prime, Sant’Albano is only providing the voice of Gwendolyn and is not doing the mocap work. “Its mainly the voice as Jen English isn’t doing it anymore the fundamentals are still there,” Prime explained. That said, it’s not uncommon for a studio to base aspects of a character’s design on the voice actor, even if they aren’t the person performing the motion capture.
It should be reiterated that Gwendolyn’s new face has not been confirmed to be based on Angela Sant’Albano or even changed. It could just be lightning. As mentioned earlier, it’s also not 100% confirmed that the Grace Ashcroft actress has even been cast in the role, even if the source behind the claim appears legitimate.

All this to say, take this latest rumor with a grain of salt until Eclipse Glow Games makes an official announcement. For the record, I hope it’s true, as Angela Sant’Albano’s performance as Grace Ashcroft is one of my favorites this year.
