Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘The Unraveled Tour’ Was Hit With Serious Scalping Issues, So Ticketmaster Stepped in To Stop It

Ticketmaster has stepped in to stop ticket scalpers from ruining Olivia Rodrigo’s “The Unraveled Tour”. The company has taken back a massive amount of tickets and is offering them back to fans at face value pricing.

On Aug. 20, 2026, Ticketmaster shared a social media post explaining that they had recovered tickets for Rodrigo’s high-profile new trek. They are now turning around and offering those tickets to fans at the original price. Ticketmaster stated that recovered tickets “are ticket purchases that broke the rules of the sales and are being released directly back to fans, at the original prices set by the tour.”

Fans will have to submit a request for tickets, and fans who have not yet bought tickets will be prioritized. The window to request tickets closes Friday, August 21st at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans can head over to the Ticketmaster website to request tickets now.

Scalpers have tried to take advantage of Olivia Rodrigo fans before

Notably, this is not the first time Ticketmaster has taken on scalpers for an Olivia Rodrigo tour. Back in 2023, they enacted some measures to try and stop scalpers from screwing up ticket sales for the singer’s “Guts” tour.

At the time, a spokesperson for Ticketmaster told Good Morning America: “Delivery delays are commonly used by artists to allow for a thorough review of the sale and to ensure all ticket purchasers have adhered to ticket limits and terms.” The decision to do this was made “as an added level of protection” for fans.

Rodrigo’s “The Unraveled Tour” kicks off in Connecticut on Sept. 25 and runs across North America through February 2027. Find the complete trek details below.

Kacey Musgraves Wants to End Your Bedroom ‘Dry Spell’ With a Limited-Edition Adult Product

If you’ve been going through a “Dry Spell” lately, Kacey Musgraves wants to help. The country music songstress has partnered with wellness brand Medicine Mama to launch a limited-edition adult product.

Fans can now get their hands on “Drought Drops.” A new take—inspired by Musgraves’s song “Dry Spell”—on Medicine Mama’s bestselling Intimate Glide lubricant. As exclusively revealed by Women’s Wear Daily, the bottle retails for $24.99.

It contains the same lube formula that customers are familiar with. Medicine Mama is a physician-led wellness brand. The brand’s team specializes in developing OB-GYN-approved female hygiene and pleasure products that undergo clinical testing.

What makes the new “Drought Drops” so special is its special-edition packaging that reflects Musgraves’ unique branding, as well as a separate sticker sheet. Take a peek below.

Speaking to WWD, Musgraves shared a message about partnering up with Medicine Mama for this new product. “Drought Drops is a cheeky little wink to my song, combined with a great product from Medicine Mama. Hopefully it keeps the dry spells away and the good times coming,” she said.

“Dry Spell” was the first single from Kacey Musgraves’ new album, ‘Middle of Nowhere’

Musgraves released “Dry Spell” in March. It was the first single off of her seventh studio album, Middle of Nowhere. The tune is written from the perspective of a woman who craves intimacy, but isn’t getting it. She ultimately decides “it’s time for me to take the bull by the horns“.

In a statement to WWD, Medicine Mama chief executive officer and founding chief medical officer Dr. Clare Bertucio explained why the brand wanted to partner with Musgraves.

“We’ve always believed intimate care deserves the same openness, care and attention as every other part of our health and belongs in our daily routines. Kacey has a unique ability to make deeply personal conversations feel universal, bringing honesty, humility and even a little humor to topics that are often left unsaid. Those same values have been at the heart of Medicine Mama since Day One,” she said.

Dr. Bertucio added, “Together, we’re helping make intimate wellness feel less stigmatized, more approachable and maybe even a little more fun. We couldn’t imagine a better partner for this collaboration.”

The special edition “Drought Drops” bottles are now available from Medicine Mama and Kacey Musgraves’ online store.

Turnstile Announced a New Version of Their ‘Never Enough’ Album, and the Guest List Is Going to Baffle You

Just months after Turnstile’s 2025 album Never Enough took home multiple Grammys, the band is dropping a new version. And let me tell you, the guest features list is wild. It includes everyone from Elton John to Hayley Williams, to Slayyyter, and even death metal masters Dying Fetus. Yes, seriously.

Set to arrive on Friday, August 28, 2026, the new project is dubbed Never Enough: Versions. It is a reimagining of songs from the band’s acclaimed fourth album. In addition to the aforementioned, fans can also expect contributions from: Porches, A.G. Cook, Floating Points, Rod Lee, Kettama, Mustafa, and Julien Baker (Boygenius).

Other guests include Panda Bear, Brandon Woody, Four Tet, Dan Deacon, Blood Orange, Chanel Beads, Faye Webster, Angel Du$t, Shabaka, Oklou, Nourished By Time, and Alex G.

I gotta say, I’m so intrigued by this. Like, of course I want to know how Elton John and Julien Baker and Angel Du$t contribute to the new version of the songs. But I REALLY want to know what the hell Dying Fetus is doing.

My speculation—based on absolutely nothing—is that they cover the song “Birds”, which won the 2026 Grammy for Best Metal Performance. It would just be super bold of them to ask one of the most respected and brutal death metal bands on the planet to take a crack at that.

Turnstile is about to head back on tour after the release of their new album

The new edition of Never Enough comes as Turnstile are preparing to head back on the road. In September, the band will embark on the Never Enough Tour Pt. 2. The trek is a 16-date headlining run that will feature different supporting acts at each stop.

Among the artists playing with Turnstile on the new tour are Clipse, Ceremony, Thundercat, Slayyyter, Hatebreed, Vince Staples, Yves Tumor, Die Spitz, Pennywise, Cold World, Texas Is The Reason, and many more.

The band will also be partnering with local nonprofit organizations in each city to make sure that there is a presence of giving back and paying forward. See below for the full itinerary.

Turnstile- Never Enough Tour Pt. 2.

Foo Fighters Take On a Rare ‘One Night Only’ Opening Slot for the Biggest Hard Rock Band of All Time

The Foo Fighters have reached a point in their career where they are no longer an opening act. Haven’t been for a long time. However, the fellas are making a rare “one night only” exception for the biggest hard rock band of all time.

On September 8, 2026, the Foos will serve as support for the Australian rock gods. The show takes place at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The Pretty Reckless has been traveling with AC/DC but will be unable to play that specific show. So, Dave Grohl and Co. are stepping in.

“Foo Fighters are taking a special one-off detour from their ‘Take Cover’ global stadium tour to fill in for their friends The Pretty Reckless as special guests of AC/DC for one night only in St. Louis,” read an announcement shared by AC/DC.

“The performance brings two generations of rock’s biggest live acts together for a one-night-only event, with the Foo Fighters opening for the band’s St. Louis tour stop,” the message added.

Dave Grohl called the Foo Fighters opening for AC/DC “a dream come true”

In a follow-up post on the Foo Fighters’ Instagram page, Dave Grohl also called the experience a “dream come true.” He also revealed that AC/DC’s 1980 concert film Let There Be Rock inspired him to become a musician.

Grohl called it the moment “that truly introduced me to the raw, primal power of rock and roll performance for the first time.” Only 11 at the time, the grunge icon said he was “watching from the edge of my seat the entire time.”

“It was like nothing I had ever experienced before,” Grohl continued. “How could five human beings conjure and possess such intensity on stage with just their instruments, and do so with such swagger, such groove… and such danger? My mind was blown. Melted. Changed forever. And my heart felt like it might explode with passion and inspiration.”

He went on to say: “From that night on, the bar was set exceptionally high. If you were a drummer and you didn’t have to change your snare drum between songs from pummeling it to splinters, you weren’t hitting it hard enough.”

“If you were a frontman in a band and you weren’t drenched in sweat by the end of the show, you weren’t giving the audience what they deserve,” the rock singer added. See below for Grohl’s full message.

Amy Lee Just Shared Her Dream Album to Make, and I Need Her to Know It’s My Dream, Too

Amy Lee, the iconic voice behind Evanescence, just shared the dream album she’d love to make, and Amy, I need you to know that this is now my dream, too.

During a fan-fueled Q&A for The Guardian, Lee was asked many questions about her life and career. Eventually, one person posed this: “Artists often reveal their influences through the songs they choose to cover. You’ve performed both ‘It’s a Fire’ and ‘Glory Box’ by Portishead. What drew you to those songs?”

“Beth Gibbons was one of my greatest vocal and musical inspirations,” Lee replied, referring to the iconic trip-hop singer and Portishead vocalist. “In the 90s, when I was a young teen really feeling music, I loved Portishead, Massive Attack and the whole trip-hop vibe. It was dark and cool, really different.”

Amy Lee’s dream album to make would be a record of Portishead covers

Lee continued: “Beth’s vocals have a way of teetering on an emotional crack, on the edge of wild, barely restrained emotion but never belting, which I always thought was so cool and enticing.” She then added, “I could happily do an entire album of nothing but Portishead covers.”

If I were a praying man, I would be begging the good Lord to shine down His blessings and lay it on a rich person’s heart to fund an Amy Lee-Portishead covers album.

Of course, as mentioned, Lee has covered Portishead in the past. You can check out her cover of “It’s a Fire” below. But I’ll say, I would pay money to hear her sing tracks like “Roads” or “Numbed in Moscow”.

The Evanescence singer also weighed in on her future in rock music

In addition to the covers question, Lee was also asked how she sees her future in rock music, and whether or not she ever imagined she’d still be performing in her 50s or 60s,

“If you had asked me that when we were starting out, and I was in my early 20s, I would have said, hell, no,” Lee responded. “I wouldn’t have predicted we’d be here this long, but now I turn 45 in December, and 44 definitely doesn’t feel like I’d imagined – it’s better.”

“Turning 60 is only 15 years away, which doesn’t feel that long,” she continued. “I don’t know if we’ll be touring hard then, but they say use it or lose it, so I’m not ruling it out. It gives you so much life to be able to bring people together and share music, so it breaks my heart to imagine that we can’t do that anymore for whatever reason.

Finally, Lee said, “I’d have to be still making music or creating in some way. It doesn’t make sense to stop.”

This Rendition of Nirvana’s ‘Lithium’ Is One of the Most Beautiful and Transformative Cover Songs I’ve Ever Heard

Phoebe Bridgers just beautifully covered Nirvana’s iconic tune “Lithium,” and it’s one of the most transformative cover songs I’ve ever heard.

The singer-songwriter laid down an acoustic version of the song for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. The arrangement is incredible, turning the abrasive, growling grunge track into a gorgeous folk-pop display. Bridgers’ voice lends itself seamlessly to Kurt Cobain’s poetic lyrics, underscoring the song’s timelessness and legacy.

According to NME, the track seems to have been recorded prior, as on August 19, 2026, Bridgers was forced to cancel some United Kingdom shows due to appendicitis. Certainly, we wish her a speedy recovery and hope to see those rescheduled in the future, but in the meantime, check out her remarkable Nirvana cover below.

Nirvana originally released “Lithium” in 1991, as part of their sophomore album, Nevermind. The track was their third single, and subsequently became one of the band’s biggest songs.

Nirvana’s “Lithium” has gone multi-platinum in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand

According to Radio X, Cobain once said that Lithium was “another story that I made up, but I did infuse some of my personal experiences. Like, breaking up with girlfriends and having bad relationships, feeling that death void that the person in the song is feeling – very lonely, sick.”

However, he later claimed it was also co-inspired by religious uncertainty. “The story is about a guy who lost his girlfriend,” he explained. “I can’t decide what caused her to die, let’s say she died of AIDS or a car accident or something, and he’s going around brooding, and he turned to religion as a last resort to keep himself alive. To keep him from suicide.”

“Sometimes I think religion is ok for certain people,” Cobain continued. “It’s good to use religion as a last resort before you go insane.”

“I have this relative who I really love a lot, and she really inspired me because she was a musician,” he added. “I used to go to her house all the time, and she became really disillusioned with her life and became suicidal. And we felt that she was gonna kill herself. Now she’s a Born Again Christian – and because of religion she is alive still. I think that is ok.”

Legendary Metal Guitarist Shares Cancer Diagnosis Update: ‘I Felt It Was Going to Kill Me’

Legendary rock guitarist Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard, DIO) has revealed an update on his cancer diagnosis, and it’s unfortunate news. Following an unsuccessful surgical procedure that doctors hoped would get all the sickness out of his body, Campbell has revealed that he again has a positive diagnosis.

“I also consider myself very fortunate because I caught my cancer early. So it’s always been more about managing my cancer,” Campbell said in an interview with YSKL FM. “There’s only been one time that I felt it was going to kill me. In Winter of 2023, I got really scared about what was happening and the pace at which it was happening, and I realized at that point that I had to do a donor transplant. It was my only hope to survive, and that’s what I did.”

It was in 2013 that Campbell was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. In January 2025, he underwent a bone marrow transplant that, regrettably, didn’t take the way his doctors had hoped. Still, the iconic musician is going to try the procedure again and keep fighting. “I’m certainly not slowing down. I’m doing as much with my life as possible,” he said.

Vivian Campbell’s new diagnosis will require more surgery and medical treatment

Campbell later shared where his head has been and what keeps him going.

“Unfortunately, I have met people in my life who, when they’ve gotten a cancer diagnosis, they’ve only focused on that. They think, ‘Oh, I can’t do anything, I need to stay in bed, I can’t eat this, I can’t do that, I can’t go there.’ I’ve never felt that way,” he said. “I’ve always felt like I’m going to continue to live my life as much as possible—in fact, even more so. After getting a cancer diagnosis, it amplifies that desire to tick all the boxes, to do the things you want to do.”

“Life is for the living, and I encourage everyone to look after their own health,” Campbell continued. “If you are unfortunate enough to get a cancer diagnosis, overcome the fear. Fear is inevitable when you’re first told those words. But once you get over that, you’ve got to realize how to manage it and how to deal with it as best as possible.

Finally, he added, “Just don’t give in.”

WATCH: Yungblud Puts His Broken Leg Where His Mouth Is and Goes Wheelchair Crowdsurfing

In one of the most audacious displays of “the show must go on” in years, Yungblud took the concert stage with a broken leg and then proceeded to crowdsurf in a wheelchair. Yes, you read that correctly.

We previously reported that the English singer suffered an accident—presumably while riding dirt bikes—that did damage to his leg, and feasibly should have been a concert-canceling injury.

On Instagram, Yungblud shared a photo of his leg in a cast. He commented that his leg was “f**ked” but that he would still be “giggin.” He let fans in Portugal and Belgium know: “I’m comin, and it’s gonna be f**king mad.” The singer was determined to go on, and go on he did. During that Portugal show, he went out into the crowd in a wheelchair, and they carried him all around. Very wild stuff here. Check out footage below.

Even with a serious leg injury, Yungblud is out here giving fans a memorable experience at his concerts. For example, take his recent baby-gender-reveal show.

Yungblud was playing an August 2026 gig at the First Interstate Arena in Billings, Montana, when he suddenly stopped. He’d spotted a sign that read: “We are pregnant, do our gender reveal.”

Yungblud did his first-ever gender reveal for fans at a 2026 Montana gig

“I ain’t never done a f**king gender reveal before,” Yungblud quipped. “Let me tell you something, I ain’t a priest but I’ll f**king do it. Come on.”

The couple had the gender of their unborn child in an envelope, which they handed to the singer. He had other plans though. “F**k that, get up here, get them up here,” he said, urging the couple to join him on stage.

As the pair made their way onto the stage, Yungblud asked the crowd to “make some f**king noise, man.” He then took the envelope and said, “So I open this, and this is gonna show you if it’s a boy or it’s a girl? Come on, get closer; I’m nervous too.”

“I’m gonna remember this moment forever. Bringing life into the world what a beautiful f**king day. Congratulations, guys,” Yungblud added while preparing to open the envelope.

He then broke the tension by saying, “You got… It’s a f**king girl!” Certainly, that was a memorable concert experience for everyone involved.

Timbaland Accused of Nepotism in Six-Figure Lawsuit Over Missy Elliott Tour Shakeup

Timbaland is facing some nepotism accusations after a DJ claims he was fired from a tour with Missy Elliott, presumably so that Timbaland’s son could take his place.

DJ E Feezy is suing Timbaland and Mosley Touring over the situation. He claims he was booted from Missy Elliott’s Out of This World tour less than a month before it was scheduled to kick off. He says this cost him $120,000 in expected earnings. Feezy believes he was dropped in favor of Timbaland’s getting an opening slot on the tour.

Timbaland denies DJ E Feezy’s implication that any enforceable contract agreement even existed

TMZ obtained copies of the lawsuit, in which E Feezy claims he’d been hired to DJ during Timbaland’s portion of the tour. He says they had a financial arrangement in the amount of $4,000 per performance. This would amount to $120,000 for the complete tour run.

E Feezy says that once the plans were set, he began preparing. This included rehearsals and securing authorization to work in Canada, which required legal expenses. He also claims he turned down other opportunities because he expected to spend July and August on tour.

All this preparation is part of E Feezy’s damages claim, as he was removed from the lineup not long before it launched. This is where those nepotism accusations come in, as the DJ alleges Timbaland’s son was hired to replace him. Ultimately, though, E Feezy’s main legal dispute boils down to whether a binding agreement was in place. This determination will directly impact whether he is owed compensation after being fired.

The Timbaland lawsuit has a bit of a twist

However, the story has a twist. E Feezy says all parties reached a settlement agreement after his dismissal. Only for Timbaland to allegedly fail to honor the terms.

Now, E Feezy is claiming approximately $130,000 in damages. TMZ reports this figure includes the income he would have earned from the tour, as well as his preparation expenses. The lawsuit asks a court to determine whether the DJ’s tour preparations were backed by an agreement the defendants must honor.

Timbaland has denied any wrongdoing in the situation

As for Timbaland, he’s asked for the lawsuit to be dismissed, and reportedly contests multiple elements. He claims there was no enforceable deal that matches how E Feezy described it.

The Grammy-winning producer has also filed his own complaint, but against his former manager, who he claims handled negotiations with E Feezy. Timbaland argues that if any agreement was made, it’s on the former manager, not him.

At this time, Timbaland does not appear to have publicly commented on the lawsuit.

Jack White and Charley Crockett Are Still Beefing Over Satanic Doo-Wop Duo Twin Temple, and It’s Getting Weirder

Just when we thought the biggest music beef since Kendrick and Drake had died, they’ve gone and revived it. It seems that Jack White and Charley Crockett are still going at it.

It all started after the country singer dissed Satanic doo-wop duo, Twin Temple. The band was set to play a short run of shows with Crockett in the Pacific Northwest over the summer. However, he kicked them off his tour after finding out that they were *checks notes* literally as Satanic as they’ve always openly claimed to be.

“Today we were informed that Charley Crockett has decided to remove Twin Temple from his upcoming shows next week due to our Satanic imagery,” Twin Temple said in a statement. As for Crockett, he reportedly told Rolling Stone that he “thought they were like Black Sabbath, but they ain’t.” Then added, “Not today, Satan.”

Jack White invited Twin Temple to open for him after Charley Crockett booted them from his tour

In response to all this, White publicly defended Twin Temple and invited them to open for him in Los Angeles. This apparently irked Crockett, for some reason, and he has continued to make comments here and there.

This catches us up to August 18, 2026, when White had enough and issued a new statement in the form of Shawn Brown’s 1980 novelty rap song about John Wayne, “Rappin’ Duke”, written out in its entirety.

Taking to Instagram, White shared a screenshot of the RS article wherein Crockett says he “lost respect” for the White Stripes founder. “I never said nothing about this young buck before,” White began his post caption. “But since he’s trying to drag me into this here rodeo again, here’s my official response to Cowboy Charley’s accusations.”

If you thought Charley Crockett was done, you thought wrong

It doesn’t end there, though! After White posted his response, Crockett came back with a LENGTHY reply. In his message, Crockett calls White things like “Mr. Suzy Cream Puff” and “Big Hoss.” He mentions the Gulf Wars, Malcolm X, Net Neutrality, UMG, and JFK.

The singer also talks a lot about his own music, quotes Jay-Z, and lambasts White for driving a Lamborghini. (There appears to be no record that Jack White owns a Lambo.) He eventually ends his message by saying, “If you want the smoke, I’m your man.”

And after all that, all I can think is how strange this all must be for Twin Temple. They just wanted to play some live shows and share their music with new audiences. Now, through no doing of theirs, two Grammy-winning artists are in a heated feud over their honor. Truly a wild thing to behold.

No, You Didn’t Time Travel: This Iconic 90s Grunge Band Really Is Back on the Charts

It’s been 35 years since Alice in Chains released their hit song, “Man in the Box”, and it’s making a big comeback. The iconic grunge tune just re-entered the Billboard charts.

In August 2026, “Man in the Box” returned to Billboard’s Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart. The song previously reached No. 18 on the chart in 1991. Notably, this re-entry marks the song’s overall 43rd week on Billboard charts.

“Man in the Box” was Alice in Chains’ second-ever radio single, and by far their most successful

Back in 1990, Alice in Chains released their debut album, Facelift. In January 1991, “Man in the Box” was released as the album’s second single, after “We Die Young”. It has since become their biggest song of all time and has been certified 3× Platinum by the RIAA.

Alice in Chains co-founders Jerry Cantrell and Layne Staley wrote the song. Sadly, Staley died in 2002. In a throwback interview with MuchMusic Canada, he opened up about the song and shared how it reflected his emotions at the time.

“Not that we’re dark or depressed,” he said. “Other bands choose to write about things they don’t know s**t about, like babes and cars, parties and going out on a Saturday night and getting in a fight.”

He added, “‘Man in the Box’ is kind of loosely based on media censorship, but only my theory. So it’s not a fact or a statement. Plus I was really stoned when I wrote it, so it meant something different then.”

The Alice in Chains guys had some interesting perspectives on songwriting

Way back in the early 90s, Cantrell and Staley sat down together to talk about their music. At one point, Cantrell offered some insight into his songwriting technique. “Writing is just communication for me, but I’m not trying to communicate to anybody,” he said in an old interview.

“It doesn’t mean anything to me from other people’s points of view,” the grunge icon added. “It’s nice to hear them, but they’re not my responsibility. Our music isn’t literal. Although we write about endings and death a lot, it’s not necessarily actually about dying.”

Tupac Murder Trial: Police Respond to Reported Shooting Outside Las Vegas Courthouse

Police have reportedly responded to a shooting outside the Las Vegas courthouse where a trial is underway in the decades-old Tupac Shakur murder case.

According to PEOPLE—which was on the scene—following testimony, the courtroom was dismissed for a lunch break. Members of Tupac’s family had been present. Shortly after they addressed the press and drove away, a shooting was reported at a nearby business.

Local news outlet KLAS reported that dispatchers told officers the apparent gunshots came from a Starbucks. This prompted a heavy police response, considering the sensitive nature of the trial.

Per PEOPLE, officers stated they were unable to locate a victim or confirm a shooting scene. “From what I know, there was no one critically injured, at least at the moment,” a police source stated. “But there was some type of shooting incident.”

Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been charged with Tupac Shakur’s murder

Inside the courtroom, testimony was heard on the case of Tupac’s 199 murder. The trial kicked off on Monday (Aug. 18, 2026), with Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 63, charged in the iconic rapper’s death.

Prosecutors allege that Tupac’s killing was carried out as revenge. Hours before the shooting, the rapper’s entourage allegedly attacked Davis’ nephew Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson at the MGM Grand following a Mike Tyson boxing match.

On Aug. 18, jurors were shown surveillance video from the casino. While panning, the camera captured footage of a group of people beating up someone on the ground. Footage also showed Shakur and his entourage hurriedly moving about the facility afterward.

Eventually, the cameras captured security and police arriving and speaking to Anderson, who was wearing a Miami Dolphins jersey at the time.

Davis is not accused of pulling the trigger in Tupac’s murder

Tragically, Shakur was murdered hours later while riding in a black BMW with hip-hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight. Reportedly, a white Cadillac carrying Davis, Anderson, and two other men pulled up and opened fire, killing Tupac in the shootout.

However, Davis is not accused of firing a weapon that took the rapper’s life.

Interestingly, in a 2025 motion, Davis’ lawyers sought to have the case against him dismissed. They cited a 27-year delay in prosecution, as well as a failure to honor immunity agreements they claim undermined “the criminal justice system’s integrity.”

“The prosecution has failed to justify a decades-long delay that has irreversibly prejudiced my client,” Attorney Carl Arnold said in a statement at the time. “Moreover, the failure to honor immunity agreements undermines the criminal justice system’s integrity and seriously questions this prosecution.”

That motion was denied.

A Christian Metal Band Is Suing Netflix Over ‘KPop Demon Hunters’

Hell hath no fury like a Christian metal band scorned. Netflix is finding that out firsthand, and it’s all over their hit musical anime: KPop Demon Hunters.

Complex reports that Seattle-based band Demon Hunter is suing Netflix for trademark infringement over the use of the words “Demon Hunter.” They also claim the film’s success has led to unfair competition and brand confusion.

The group filed their trademark lawsuit in California on Aug. 18, 2026, through their corporation Hyde Lane. In addition to Netflix, the lawsuit also names Netflix Studios and live events promoter AEG Presents as defendants.

Demon Hunter has been around for roughly 26 years and has 12 studio albums

A significant portion of the complaint focuses on the KPop Demon Hunters live tour. Only recently announced, the tour is in collaboration with AEG. Demon Hunter claims that the event causes “almost complete overlap” with their branding. Ultimately, they believe this will create marketplace confusion for fans who could perceive them as each other.

Relatedly, the lawsuit cites the case of an individual who allegedly spent $500 on tickets to a Demon Hunter concert in Albany, New York. The person ended up requesting a refund so they could buy tickets to the “actual KPop Demon Hunters” concert.

Demon Hunter accuses the defendants of being “massive companies that jealously guard and enforce their own intellectual property rights willfully disregarding the rights of others in pursuit of profits.”

Frontman Ryan Clark is the only remaining original member of Demon Hunter

Hyde Lane seeks a trial by jury, as well as restoration of their “rightful interests” in the Demon Hunter trademark. They also seek “restitution and treble damages” and request that Netflix be prevented from using the “KPop Demon Hunters” name.

At this time, neither Netflix nor AEG has commented publicly on the lawsuit.

Tool and Sushi Lovers, There’s a New Restaurant in Arizona Accepting Reservations That You’re Going to Want to See

Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan is a guy with lots of irons in the fire. He’s adding one more, as the iconic heavy metal singer is opening a sushi restaurant.

On September 4, 2026, Keenan will open Queen B Sushi at 816 N. Main St. in Old Town Cottonwood, Arizona. And they’re already taking reservations. Queen B Sushi is led by Culinary Director Chef Brett Vibber, who previously led Roka Akor’s London, Hong Kong, and United States locations.

Vibber’s Queen B Sushi team includes Chef Chuhiro “Thomas” Kato, who trained under Nobu Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills and Masaharu Morimoto in New York. The team also features Chef Sheridan “Sher” Chase. Chef Sher is an Arizona native who’s worked in kitchens all over the U.S. Southwest.

Keenan has a top-notch sushi team running his new venture

“Although I’ve been enjoying sushi since my days in Boston, circa 1987, my first Japanese tour wasn’t until 2000 with A Perfect Circle,” Keenan said in a press release statement. “It was an eye-opening and mind-blowing experience. While there, I picked up these amazing titanium-and-hardwood travel chopsticks from Snow Peak. And I’ve carried them with me ever since.”

“Last year I ran into Janeane Garofalo at the Chelsea in NYC,” he continued. “She was saying to David Cross and Dave Hill, ‘I haven’t seen Maynard in several years, but one thing I remember is that he used to carry chopsticks in his pocket.’ At which point I reached into my pocket and pulled them out. Twenty-five years I’ve been carrying these chopsticks. That’s how much I love sushi.”

The concept of Queen B Sushi is said to have begun by accident. Keenan and his wife, Jennifer Keenan, previously considered a full sushi program for one of their other businesses: Queen B Vinyl Café. However, while developing the cafe menu, they shelved the sushi plan. The couple presumed they would not be able to find a fitting chef in the small town. Vibber, who was already on their staff, ended up being the man for the job.

Keenan also runs a vineyard and café in Arizona

As noted, Queen B Sushi is the next in a line of businesses that Keenan has established in Arizona’s Verde Valley. He started with the Caduceus Cellars Tasting Room in Jerome. The list has since grown to include the Merkin Vineyards Hilltop Winery & Trattoria and Caduceus Cellars Hilltop Facility, a seven-acre complex on the site of Cottonwood’s former Masonic Lodge.

In 2024, he and Jennifer expanded Queen B Vinyl Café to include a café and coffee roaster. Today, it’s Northern Arizona’s exclusive Record Store Day location and an artist-friendly venue.

Notably, Queen B Sushi will pour a rotating selection of Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards wines.

The Oasis Documentary Trailer Is Here, and I’m Not Crying, You’re Crying

A trailer for the new Oasis documentary is here, and someone must be cutting onions because these ol’ blue eyes of mine are MISTY.

The film is titled Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger, and it follows the story of the band from their early beginnings to now. Revealing Oasis’ trajectory from their rise to superstardom to an embattled place in rock history, the film ends at their 2025 reunion tour. It was an event for the ages that many were skeptical would finish, if they even believed it would get off the ground at all.

This new teaser indicates that fans are getting a fairly comprehensive and vulnerable look at the lives of Noel and Liam Gallagher, their contentious relationship, and overcoming their sibling rivalry to reclaim their alt-rock throne.

A description of the film reads: “Alongside the band’s sold-out world tour, the film also explores the profound emotional impact of this phenomenal global cultural moment and what their music means to audiences and generations worldwide.”

The Oasis documentary has some acclaimed filmmaking names behind it

The new Oasis documentary is produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace. Southern and Lovelcase are known for helming the renowned LCD Soundsystem documentary: Shut Up And Play The Hits.

Knight previously spoke about the film, saying, “The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation. Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger is not only your ticket to the show – it’s a backstage pass and a seat at the table when Liam and Noel sit down together for the first time in 15 years and tell it how it is and how it was.”

NME also noted that Noel Gallagher previously offered some comments on the film. “I’ve only seen a tiny little bit of [the film], and it’s difficult to have an opinion on it because I’m only looking at little snippets,” he said. “Everyone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it’s amazing. If it even captures five per cent of what that tour was, it’ll be astonishing. Looking forward to it.”

Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger will premiere in theaters and IMAX on September 11, 2026. It will be available to stream on Disney+ sometime later this year.

Matthew McConaughey Quit Smoking Weed With the Help of This 1993 Smash Hit (Played Over 20 Times)

There are probably not a lot of people who can say that Janet Jackson is the reason they quit smoking weed. Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, however, is one of them.

The story came up while McConaughey was speaking to Rolling Stone for the outlet’s My Life In 10 Songs feature. On his list, the Rivals of Amziah King actor included Jackson’s 1993 single “That’s The Way Love Goes”.

“What a cool, groovy little tune,” McConaughey said, then revealing how impactful the song really was on him. “It’s also the reason I quit smoking weed.” After a chuckle, he explained that, “right around the time weed started turning hydroponic,” he heard the song and was taken aback by the marijuana’s hallucinogenic capabilities.

“That’s the Way Love Goes” was the first single of Janet Jackson’s fifth album

“A lot of y’all don’t remember, but weed used to be: you could roll a joint, smoke it, pass it around, everyone giggles, gets the munchies, and maybe runs off and tries to get some snuggle time,” McConaughey reflected. “Well then it started getting this hydroponic stuff where one toke, the subplots could become unmanageable, and people would implode.”

“I was headed to my own birthday party,” he went on to share. “We’d taken over the club for my birthday party. I’m gonna drive myself. Before I go, my buddy hands me this joint; he goes, ‘Here, man. Have some of this, super fun.’ I get there, and I take the toke in the car. It was not like the weed I’d smoked before.”

McConaughey continued, “I listened to Janet Jackson’s ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’ 24 times in a row, and when I finally got out of the car to go into my birthday party, no one was in there, ‘cause it was over. They’d all left.”

“I sat in the frickin’ car listening to ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’ 24 times because I thought, at the time, that that was more important than going to my own birthday party,” he concluded. “Love the song, didn’t love the weed. Still like the tune, though.”

Remember When the Sex Pistols (Literally) Bottled the Smell of Punk Rock and Told Fans to ‘Disregard Aromatic Conventions’

The Sex Pistols are one of the most influential punk rock bands of all time. From music to fashion, and even perfume. Yes, that just unlocked a memory, because now you’re remembering Sex Pistols: The Scent.

Back in 2010, the legendary group released a “God Save the Queen” branded gender-neutral perfume. The unusual move was a collaboration with Paris-based perfume brand Etat Libre d’Orange, per Billboard. The company licensed the Sex Pistols name from their merchandising partner, Live Nation Merchandise.

Sex Pistols Perfume: For the Anarchist who really wants to smell like one

At the time, members of the Sex Pistols did not publicly comment on the scent. However, Michael Krassner—who was executive VP of worldwide retail and licensing for LNM—stated that the band was “closely involved” with all licensing decisions.

“They know who they are better than we do,” Krassner said. “That’s difficult in some respects, as opposed to someone who just approves everything. But ultimately, if you want your brand to endure, you have to have a level of consistency and quality over time.”

The Sex Pistols scent featured elements of pepper, leather, and patchouli

According to the Fragrantica database, “The nose behind this fragrance is Mathilde Bijaoui.” The scent featured elements of “Pepper, Amalfi Lemon, Aldehydes, Leather, Patchouli, Plum, Ambrette (Musk Mallow), and Heliotrope.”

The composition was designed to capture “the spirit of punk in the bottle, under the name of the band.” Bijaoui worked to craft a “rebellious peppery-scented” odor that would be as inspirational as the “anarchy and chaos” ideologies that defined the punk rebellion of the 1970s United Kingdom. For that reason, it was defined as a “revolution in a bottle.”

“Fresh lemon bites you early in the composition, sharpened by the defiant black pepper,” the description adds. “The unruly turbulence is caused by prune and intense ambrette seed, while the electricity of aldehydes, further inflated with leather and heliotrope, is subsequently grounded and brought back to earth by patchouli note.”

Fragrantica goes on to note, “Besides the intense flavor, the pack is also designed in the spirit of punk. The graphics are inspired by the cover of their first single, 1977’s “God Save The Queen.” Sex Pistols perfume is available as [a] 50 ml EDP.”

Post Malone Played the Rarest ‘Magic: The Gathering’ Card Ever—and It’s Worth $2 Million

We nerds will remember that back in 2023, Post Malone acquired the rarest Magic: The Gathering card ever. Well, he just played it in a match, and his opponents were flabbergasted. Yes, I said, “flabbergasted.”

Posty turned up on an August 2026 episode of The Command Zone’s Game Knights, playing a game of Magic with some fellow Planeswalkers. At one point, he unsheathed the holy grail card: The one-of-one The One Ring card, which he paid $2 million to own.

“I’m taking it out of the obnoxious big block,” Posty said, to the other players’ gasps. “It would ruin game night.”

The elusive card was part of the 2023 The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth set. However, Wizards of the Coast only printed one serialized 001/001 version of The One Ring. This was to symbolize the uniqueness of the famed item at the center of J.R.R. Tolkien’s famous epic.

Collectors began seeking it out as soon as the set dropped, but it was ultimately unpacakaged by Canadian collector Brook Trafton. The card was then authenticated by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) and graded Mint 9. Malone bought it from Trafton in August 2023, paying a $2 million bounty.

Post Malone’s 001/001 ‘one ring’ card is the only one in existence

“When I found the One Ring, the first person who came to mind was Post Malone,” Trafton commented on a video of the sale. “I have played MTG since I was a kid and obviously it would be amazing to keep this card. But for a guy like me, being able to sell it is life-changing. I just really hoped it would go to someone who would appreciate it as much as I do.”

There are common versions of the One Ring card, and Malone’s plays just like those. Per Polygon: “When it enters the battlefield, it grants protection from everything until the player’s next turn, then can be tapped to draw cards at the cost of accumulating burden counters that eventually drain life.”

You can learn more about the One Ring card by checking out its entry at the Magic: The Gathering online database.

Drake Responds After ‘Goated’ Ella Langly Spotted Vibing Out to His Song With Lil Wayne

Ella Langley was recently spotted vibing out to Drake and Lil Wayne’s song “HYFR” online. Now, Champagne Papi has responded with matched energy.

In a post on social media, the “Choosin’ Texas” singer lip-synced along to “HYFR” played in the background. Then, Drake took to one of her Instagram posts, liking it and commenting, “Goated Pen,” alongside a pen emoji.

We can only assume the light banter here is just friendly, but Drake does have a charm that often implies more. This was certainly true of his online date with content creator and cosplayer Pinkchyu.

The OnlyFans star was the winner of a 20v1 gameshow, as part of Stake’s ninth anniversary celebration. As part of her prize, she got to spend some 1-on-1 time with the rapper.

Pinkchyu was later asked by TMZ if she and Drake did more than just talk. “No, no, no. We just had a lot of conversations,” she admitted. She went on to note that she and Drake are “complete opposites.” However, she said he was “wonderfully kind.”

Drake is buying Pinkchyu’s mother a home

Notably, during the stream, Drake promised to buy Pinkchyu’s mom a house, after finding out that this was the main reason she’d signed up for the competition. It appears that he is making good on that promise, and Pinkchyu’s mom is very happy.

“I think she’s just really grateful,” Pinkchyu told TMZ. “I do [OnlyFans] and a lot of the money I have I do take care of my family, like, help my sisters. I’m half Mexican, so we’re all really, really close, and so obviously she’s like over the moon.”

The goth influencer added that Drake’s generosity made her “really happy.”

Pinkchyu wasn’t the only 20v1 contestant to praise Drake for his charm

In additon to Pinkchyu, adult film star Lily Phillips was also a contestant on the 20v1 game show. It also turns out that she had nothing but nice things to say about Drake. I’ve never met a nicer celebrity. He is so down to earth, so goofy, so silly, so funny,” she shared with The Tab. “He is the same with everyone, whether you’ve got a million followers like me or you’ve got zilch.”

Yungblud Suffered What Should Be a Concert-Cancelling Injury But He’s Still Planning to Perform

Yungblud has suffered a brutal injury that should be a concert-canceler, but he’s still planning to go on with the show.

Taking to Instagram, Yungblud shared a photo showing his leg in a cast. In the post caption, he quipped that his leg is “f**ked” but that he’s “still standin (sort of)” and will still be “giggin.” Next up, he’s got shows in Portugal and Belgium. “I’m comin, and it’s gonna be f**king mad,” he assured fans. “See you next week. Let’s ride.”

While he doesn’t specifically mention what caused the injury, it is speculated that it’s due to a dirt bike injury.

In response, Yungblud has been getting a lot of support from his followers. “Oh, I remember how you played gigs in a wheelchair in the past,” one person recalled in the post comments. “And how you were jumping even with the wheelchair. Get better soon, Domino!”

Someone else added, “Good lord, Dom, what all damage did the bike do to need a full leg wrap? Road rash from hell, I figure, ouch. We’re gonna have to wrap you in bubble wrap, friend! Hope ya heal up quickly!”

Yungblud had to cancel a North American gig earlier this year

Yungblud’s gnarly leg injury comes weeks after her had to cancel his appearance at the Cowboys Music Festival. The singer was suffering from severe mental health exhaustion and needed time to recover.

In a social media statement, Yungblud explained, “To all my family in Canada, I apologize for not being there with you all this weekend.”

“I’m currently in a place where I’m working on myself and taking time off at home in the U.K.,” the rock star added. “I’m taking this extremely seriously and facing head-on what’s going on for the good of the long term. I will never take any of this for granted, and I will see you all soon. I love you all.”

Yungblud’s management also offered a statement. “Reluctantly, we have made the decision as a team to pull Yungblud from The Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary this Sunday,” they penned. “We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause; these are not decisions we take lightly. All other scheduled shows will go on as planned.”

Finally, Cowboys Music Fest organizers issued a statement as well. “Our thoughts are with Dom (Yungblud). We are sending him all our love and support and wish him nothing but the very best during this time. We want him to know and feel the true love he has here in Canada.”
