The Entire β€˜Tomb Raider’ Survivor Trilogy Is Finally Available on Nintendo Switch 2

29 October 2026 at 01:55

Tomb Raider fans can now take the current trilogy on the road, whether that’s a simple trip to visit family for the holidays or following in Lara’s footsteps on a dangerous mission to discover the lost city of Atlantis. The three most recent games, starting with the 2013 Tomb Raider and known collectively as the Survivor trilogy, are now available on Nintendo Switch 2.Β

Tomb Raider (2013) and its sequels,Β Rise of the Tomb RaiderΒ (2015) andΒ Shadow of the Tomb RaiderΒ (2018), are now all available on the Nintendo Switch 2, with the 2018 game arriving just last week. The previous games in the trilogy have been available on the Switch 2 for some time. Tomb Raider was added on November 18, 2025, with Rise of the Tomb Raider following in June of this year.Β

In the 2013 Tomb Raider, players meet a new version of Lara with a different background, including her relationship with her family and with archaeology itself. While searching for the lost city of Yamatai, Lara is shipwrecked on a remote island. She begins the game as a neophyte archaeologist, recently graduated from university, with little to no combat training – but ends the game wielding her famous dual pistols.Β

Nintendo Switch 2 Just Got the Complete β€˜Tomb Raider’ Trilogy, and It’s Perfect for Playing on the Go

Rise of the Tomb Raider finds a more experienced Lara still trying to solve the mysteries of her time in Yamatai. This time she finds herself in Syria, searching for the city of Kitzeh. When she stumbles upon the tomb of the Prophet of Constantinople, a key piece of the puzzle, she finds more than the remnants of a previous society one might expect on an archaeological dig. Instead, she pulls on a thread that unravels what she thought she knew about her late father.Β

The Survivor trilogy culminates with Shadow of the Tomb Raider, where Lara travels to South America and discovers the secret city of Paititi after her plane crashes in the Peruvian jungle. Lara has already had an especially tough time this go-around, considering she accidentally wiped the Mexican island of Cozumel off the map. Who hasn’t snatched up a magical artifact better left alone, only to trigger a devastating tsunami? In Paititi, Lara must find another artifact that will play a significant role in stopping apocalyptic events she inadvertently set in motion.Β

The games are available individually and grouped together in the Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy bundle. With all three Survivor trilogy games now on Nintendo Switch 2, the series joins PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and macOS. Tomb Raider players certainly have a treasure trove of platforms to choose from.

All PlayStation Plus November Monthly Games

The quality of the PlayStation Plus monthly games can definitely vary from offering to offering, but November 2026 seems to be ready to deliver the goods for subscribers.

Dead Island 2 may be a few years old, but it’s still a very popular title with gamers and is well worth playing for subscribers who haven’t checked it out yet.

Additionally, Monster Train 2 is a must-play for fans of the indie deckbuilding roguelite genre. The game is incredibly addictive and offers hours of entertainment.

Here is the full list of titles that will arrive on November 3:

  • Dead Island 2 | PS5, PS4
    • Welcome to HELL-A. The City of Angels has been transformed into a hellish sprawl, its populace now mutated into disgusting zombies with an insatiable appetite for humans. In this extensive, visceral RPG experience you’ll journey to iconic LA locations, taking on quests, meeting eccentric survivors and enjoying a joyously pulpy narrative along the way. The game’s brutal melee combat gives you access to an expansive array of inventive zombie-slaying weaponry that lets you slice, smash and tear through the hordes before they get the chance to do the same to you. Explore the game’s expansive world alone, or practice strength in numbers in online three-player co-op to increase your chances of survival.
  • Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered | PS5, PS4
    • Play the next series of Tomb Raider adventures in this remastered collection of the Darkness Trilogy, which includes
    • Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Play with the original polygonal models or swap to the remastered graphics at any time.
  • Monster Train 2 | PS5
    • This single player deckbuilding roguelite sees you command clans formed of a makeshift alliance between former angels and demons, as they work together to oust powerful beings known as Titans, who have seized control of Heaven. Now, you must command these clans aboard newly forged trains, and embark on your journey through Hell, Heaven, and the Abyss, to defeat the Titans before they destroy this world. Choose from a selection of five brand new clans, each with its own unique strengths and gameplay to forge strategies fitting your personal playstyle. With three vertical levels to defend against dangerous new enemies, you’ll need to recruit powerful new units, upgrade cards, and experiment to survive.

Subscribers should also keep in mind that they still have until Monday November 2 to add the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for October to their library. That list includes F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
